The RF field coupling up to 1 GHz probe set tests the ICs in terms of their immunity under the influence of RF magnetic fields (P1401) or RF E-fields (P1501).
These analyzes are the basis for an EMC compatible development of ICs. Furthermore, the determined RF parameters are helpful for the IC user to develop optimal IC applications.
In addition to the test set-up an ICE1 test environment, a RF generator and a power amplifier are needed.
Field sources can only be run in connection with a short circuit- and open circuit proof power amplifier.

The P1401 RF magnetic field source tests the ICs in terms of their immunity under the influence of RF magnetic fields. The IC to be tested is tested while it is running. The P1401 magnetic field source is operated in connection with a power amplifier and a RF signal generator.
The P1501 RF E-field source tests the ICs in terms of their immunity under the influence of RF E-fields. The IC to be tested is tested while it is running. The P1501 E-field source is operated in connection with a power amplifier and a RF signal generator.
The BPM 02 is a dB/dt field meter and it is used to measure the temporal change of the magnetic field strength characteristics dB/dt up to 3 GHz. The lower limit frequency depends on the measurement set-up.
