EMC Analysis
The EMC- characteristics depend on a high degree on the quality of the connectors at the interfaces. The connector`s design determines the coupling characteristics of external interferences to internal signals and the decoupling of internal signals. Via the coupling inductance measurement station the coupling inductance of cables and connectors is determined. This parameter describes the EMC quality of connectors or cables and allows for optimization prospects during the development.

Measuring of electromagnetic Shielding according to Langer method
The shielding effectiveness of a shielding material is defined by the attenuation of an electromagnetic wave that penetrates the material. However, in practice, this phenomenon relates to near-field effects, which are responsible for the penetration of the shielding material in the form of currents …

Measurement of the Coupling Inductance of Connectors and Cables
In order to descripe emission- and immunity features of connectors or cables, it is generally considered sufficient to determine their coupling inductivity. For the measurement the connectors are arranged and measured in a special measuring environment. The measurements are recorded by ChipScan-CI …
